I’m Mikayla! I’m the one who does the baking. Blake is my yellow lab pup (and bestie). When I decided to create a cottage food sourdough bakery, I simply had to name it after her! I’m a Modesto baker who neverrrr would have guessed I would become a baker! My loving partner, Kyren, encouraged me to try it out, and I found that I love the sourdough process. I love creating something to nourish and fuel my body while knowing exactly what is in it! And I love being able to provide that for the community as well. And I’ll be honest… I love receiving compliments about how amazing my bread is! Haha! We’re located in Modesto, and here to provide amazing bread, bagels, and cookies to the 209! And we can’t forget about our sourdough dog treats for all the good girls and boys! 🐾
